FAQ for Online Shopping

Here are some of the questions that some of you might have...


Qn: What does re-stocking of items means? Can I still place order?
Ans: Usually, when the Taiwan seller publish their new items on the website, they only have limited quantity of the stocks and they sell out very fast. Thus we have to wait for re-stocking of the items from their factory and this will usually takes about 10 - 14 working days. Yes, you can still place the order, but you will have to make payment first in order to reserve the item.

Qn: Can I still place order if the stock is selling out fast / sold out?
Ans: Yes, you can still go ahead to place order for stocks that are selling out fast. However, there is no guarantee that you will get the stocks as we still need to inform the seller to process for us. During this time, items might have already been sold out.
If the stocks are indicated as sold out, pls do not place order anymore, because once sold out they will not be re-stocking the items anymore.

Qn: How will I know whether there are still stocks for the items I want?
Ans: Usually there's a stock chart indicated in the website. You can also email me at m3lodym3lody@gmail.com

 Qn:  Why is there a need to have at least 20 items before order will be shipped?
Ans: This is because we need to accumulate more items in order for us to enjoy the cheaper shipping rates.
For example, if we buy 10 pieces of apparels, the cost of shipping is SGD 20. However if we buy 25 pieces of apparels the cost of shipping is SGD 35.  

Calculation
Shipping cost: SGD 20 / 10 pcs = SGD 2.00 per item
Shipping Cost: SGD 35 / 25 pcs = SGD 1.40 per item

** the above illustration is based on my own shopping experience, the cost of shipping per item might not be the same everytime (depends on the weight of parcel)

Qn: How is the shipping cost determined?
Ans: Shipping cost is determined by the weight of the total items & is provided by the Taiwan seller. Based on the total items bought, we charge based on the average cost spreaded over the total quantity for that particular order rather than on the type of item bought.
For example, M3lody bought 4 bags & 2 wallets, whereas KuroMi bought 6 bags. The shipping cost will be divided by total of 12 items bought (even though the weight of the wallet is lesser than the bag) -> pls understand that this is to facilitate easier computation of the shipping cost   "(>.<)"

Qn: Why do I have to wait for 2 months or longer?
Ans: As we have to accumulate at least 20 items from many of us, and also, the time we need to wait for the re-stocking of items.

Qn: How long does it takes for the parcel to reach Singapore?
Ans: Based on my past experiences with online shopping, the shipping (by air) normally takes about 7 working days. Sellers will usually provide the tracking number so that we can check online ourselves when the items are arriving. However it could be longer due to custom check.

Qn: Can I order from websites other than the listed here?
Ans: Currently no as I'm only purchasing from those websites that we have bought from & are willing to ship overseas. If you come across other websites that are willing to ship overseas, I can add in as well, but provided we have at least 20 items bought from the shop.

Qn: Can I place multiple orders from different online shops at the same time?
Ans: Our objective is to consolidate many orders so as to enjoy cheaper shipping rates. Thus we will update in our blog on which online shop we are ordering from. If you do not mind paying more for shipping, you can still send in the orders from different shops & we can still place order for you =) 
Note: Tokyo Fashion has minimum quantity to purchase
